Awards

2010 –has been selected for casting in the biggest foundry in Europe located in Verrès, Aosta Valley, Italy. In addition, free die-casting and obtaining the commemorative medal.

Maryam Baniasad is an Iranian artist who currently lives and works between Milan- Italy and Tehran-Iran. Her work has been internationally exhibited since 2005.

Maryam has Master of Art in Sculpture from Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan Italy and Bachelor of Art in Sculpture from the College of Fine Arts at the prestigious Tehran University, and she is member of The Iranian Sculptors Society (AIS). She has worked and being trained by internationally recognized Iranian sculptor such az "Parviz Tanavoli" .

Her focus is in abstract work specialized in symbolic contemporary modern life and art within modern societies.
